Remington PG6050 Pioneer Grooming Kit review: All-in-one

Remington PG6050 Pioneer Grooming Kit comes with 5 attachment head and it also has some advanced features, lets find out whether PG6050 is really a grooming kit or just another beard trimmer.

Technical Specification: 9/10
Advanced Titanium Self–sharpening blades
5 attachment heads
Wide trimmer for sharp lines
Detail trimmer for a closer trim (0.2 mm)
Mini–foil shaver
Linear body groomer
Fine trimmer for nose, ear and eyebrows
8 combs for different cutting lengths (1.5 - 16mm)
USB charging (USB cable included)
Cord / cordless – Up to 40 mins of cordless usage
Charging indicator light
Anti slip grip
Washable heads for easy cleaning

Build Quality: 8/10
Build quality of main motor is excellent. It has anti-slip grip which is really a useful feature in making a solid grip while holding it in hand. All the attachment with blades are good but comb quality is not up to the mark. Some combs doesn't even fit properly on trimmer, I believe it will become loose after sometime if you attach and detach too frequently. Overall build quality of PG6050 is not great but its good enough.

Pictures:

Ease of Use: 7/10
Remington PG6050 can be used while charging through mains, it lasts up to 45 minutes of continuous use when fully charged. Initially its hard to change different attachments but overtime it becomes easy. There is no need to use any oil because trimmer comes with self-sharpening technology. This product is good for beard styling and body hair trimming but if you are thinking about head hair-cutting then it becomes nearly unusable. I tried to cut 3-year old boy hair but after struggling for an hour I could barely finish it. The adjustments are flimsy which hardly helps if you want precision cutting. Detail trimmer is good but it starts itching wherever you trim using this.

Price: 7/10
4,500/-, available on all popular e-commerce stores

The Good:
Many attachments
Cord/cordless usages
Battery life

The Bad:
Hard to use for head hair cutting

The Ugly:
Combs and adjustments build quality

Verdict: Recommended
Good for beard styling and body hair trimming

Overall Rating: 7.5/10

Nokia 105/106 review : Cuteness Redefined

In an era of smartphone and touchscreen technology nobody is bothered about bar shaped feature phone except Nokia which has been a pioneer in developing these kind of phones. Lets find out how Nokia 105 fares in today's rapidly changing mobile technology world.

Technical Specification:
Physical Size: 107 x 44.8 x 14.3 mm, 64 cc
Weight: 70 g
Display: 128 x 128 pixels, 1.45 inches TFT
Flashlight
Loudspeaker

USB charging
FM radio
Calculator
Calendar
Converter
Expense manager
Java
Games
800 mAh battery (BL-5CB)
35 days of stand by
12 h 30 min, talktime

Design:
Nokia 105/106 design is kept simplistic with a touch of Lumia like profile. It has full plastic body but build quality is rather good without any loose parts or creaking sound. Don't fall into dust proof and waterproof thing because only keypad is dust and waterproof. Its lightweight design feels solid while holding in hand but it could have been slimmer.

Features:
Both 105 and 106 comes with standard 3.5 mm audio jack so you can connect any compatible earphone with radio antenna to enjoy radio. The difference between 105 and 106 is that former doesn't come with an earphone thats why its cheaper. Although there is 8MB of internal memory but you can only record radio in that memory you can't transfer songs from PC via USB. It has standard USB support but it can be used for charging only. Call quality is good but there is one problem which is related to cost cutting, the lack of earpiece. It uses loudspeaker when you are in call, so you might notice sound leakage.

Price:
Nokia 105 - 1150/-
Nokia 106 - 1400/-

The Good:
Looks
Battery is awesome

The Bad:

The Ugly:

Asics GEL-Kayano 20 review

ASICS is a well known brand among runners for making one of the most comfortable and durable shoes which can be used for long or short run. On the 20th anniversary of GEL-Kayano ASICS launched 20th iteration of Kayano series. Looking at its specification it seems a big step forward from its previous versions. Lets find out how it fares in day to day use.

Technical Specifications: 9.5/10
Weight - 320 gms
Heel height - 22 mm
Forefoot height - 12 mm
Technologies - FluidFit, Dynamic DuoMax Support System, Heel Clutching System, Guidance Trusstic System, Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems, and FluidRide

Pictures:

Comfort: 10/10
GEL-Kayano 20 comes with FluidFit technology, this is the first shoe in ASICS portfolio to get FluidFit technology. According to ASICS this technology consists of a webbing of stretchy overlays along the mid-foot and forefoot for a more adaptive and personalized glove like fit. I wear 8 size shoe but when I wore this pair first time then I realized that I should have gone for 7.5 because I was feeling lot of empty space in the front. To my surprise after using it for a day I had already fallen in love with its design and comfort. I have so far used it for more than 100 kms of walking and sometimes day-to-day use and believe me this pair will always fair your expectation. The Kayano series is known for its blend of support, cushioning, and plush fit. It comes with the Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) which cleverly allows shoe components from rear to mid-foot and forefoot work together effectively. Last but not the least is ASICS renowned GEL technology, GEL is located in the rear-foot and forefoot to counter shock during the impact and toe-off phases. Most importantly with all this technology it works flawlessly.

Looks: 9/10
Well thought off design keeping looks in mind. I tried both GEL-Nimbus 15 and GEL-Kayano 20, although both looks good but I liked latter more.

Build Quality: 8.5/10
Build quality is awesome, feels solid and looks like it's build to last forever. There are some minor finishing issue with its upper mesh design and some black paint elements are spread on white cushioning but these defects are minor and only noticeable when you look closely.

Price: 9/10
In sotore - $160
Amazon - $130
In India - 10,000/-, available on all popular e-commerce stores

Verdict: Highly Recommended
Since 1993 when ASICS launched Kayano series, it has always focused on producing best in the market through innovation and GEL-Kayano 20 is no exception. If your budget is 10k and you are interested in best overall shoe then this is highly recommended.

Overall rating: 9.5/10

Best Nokia Symbian S60v5 Smartphone

Gone are the days when Nokia had produced real multimedia-cum-smartphone like N70, N91, N95 etc. Now we are left with some E-Series and few N-Series phones to choose among. I had hard time picking phones to my comparison chart. The reason I choose N97 and N97 mini is because these are the Nokia flagship smartphone scurrently available in  the market also there is a buzz around us for touchscreens. I can't leave E-Series flagship E72 for comparison which is an all-rounder with some real business capability. Now lets compare head-to-head each of them and see which one scores better.
